Tatum Claire Willcutt is officially 3 years old! It is a happy day and a sad day at the same time because my little girl is definitely not a baby anymore. She carries on a better conversation than some adults and out smarts me constantly. She is such a joy to our family and keeps life interesting! She is a great, big sister to Camille and the perfect blessing. Tatum is one lucky girl because she had 3 birthday parties!!
The first party was at school with her friends. This is the birthday she wore all day on her birthday. She was so proud.
Then, she we had a party at home that night with a good meal and birthday cake.
I was so terrified of hair catching on fire from the birthday candles. She is all about doing her own hair and picking out her own clothes these days which drives me crazy, but as you can see she is not into hair bows!
Our family came in town for Tatum's birthday, and we brought the cousins to Monkey Joe's. They had so much fun that they wouldn't stop to smile for a picture.
But, sweet Caroline finally stopped long enough to give me a big smile!
Though Brayden is not old enough to play on the jumpers, he enjoyed ice cream at the table. He is soooo stinking cute!
She was so pooped after we left Monkey Joe's, but this nap didn't last very long unfortunately.
After jumping at Monkey Joe's, we headed to the river for a boat ride.
The girls LOVED the boat! Check out Tatum's choice of outfit....Minnie Mouse t-shirt and a polka dot skirt.....and no bow.
This was Camille's first boat ride. She looks like she is waving to everyone.
We had an awesome steak dinner and more cake!
Do you think she was having fun?
They laughed so hard when Tatum would toot the boat horn.
Check out the edge of the cake...someone took a swipe....hhhmmm.
Deedee and Pop gave Tatum a Tangles wig, and we found the black wig in the closet. So, everyone took turns trying them on. This was hilarious!
On Sunday, more playing at the river. This time, they were using the hot tub....not so hot...as a pool.
And more boat rides....the sunglasses from Deedee were hits.
We were so excited that Brian, Jennifer and Avery ended up visiting. Avery's games were rained out, and they travelled all the way down just for an overnight stay.
Tatum played us a little jazz as we cruised the river...thanks Aunt Brit and Magnus for the horn.
There was lots of lounging and chatting around the crab/shrimp pot.
Isn't he so cute!
Yummy!!
The girls wanted to show off "their" crabs.
And Camille enjoyed lounging with Brian in the A/C. Can you tell she was enjoying it??
We gave Tatum a bicycle for her birthday, and she hopped on for her first ride this afternoon.
And, she got her first bicycle war wounds. She fell on both knees when she lost control for going to fast......noooo, not Tatum....going to fast???
But, she hopped right back on her bicycle and kept going. She is definitely a tough cookie!
We had such a great time with our family during Tatum's birthday, and I wanted to share some of the pictures with you. I will try to post tomorrow more updates on Camille. She is such a sweet baby, and we are enjoying her everyday!!
